Services & Fees
Maryam Yasmin Therapy & Consulting is a private-pay therapy practice, meaning clients pay the full session fee at the time of service. We do not participate in any insurance panels. For those interested in seeking Out-of-Network (OON) Reimbursements from their insurance carrier, we are happy to provide you with a Superbill. Most of our clients with OON benefits recoup 30%-90% back from their insurance. Please see FAQ’s for more info.
Individual Therapy
$225 per 55 minute session
$275 per 75 minute session
$335 per 90 minute session
Group Therapy
$50-$75 per 75 minute session
Clinical Supervision
*$150 per 50-60 minute individual supervision session (provisionally professionals)
$200 per 50-60 minute individual supervision/consultation session (fully licensed professionals)
$225 per 50-60 minute “one-off” professional consultation session (pre-licensed & fully licensed professionals)
$50 per 60 minute group supervision session
*If you are provisionally licensed (LMSW, LGPC, LGMFT) and have your own private practice, the fee for supervision is equal to the out-of-pocket session fee you charge your clients. If your session fee is less than $150, my minimum supervision fee of $150 still applies. Supervision is considered a tax deductible business expense. If you work for an agency and are unable to afford this fee, please reach out to discuss group supervision.

We do not accept insurance.
If you would like to use your out-of-network (OON) insurance benefits to recoup a portion of the cost paid, please call your insurance company directly to learn how to do so. Here are a few questions to ask your insurance:
Do I have out-of-network benefits for mental health services provided via telehealth?
What is my yearly deductible? Has it been met?
How many sessions per calendar year does my plan cover?
How much does my insurance plan reimburse for an out-of-network provider for CPT codes 90791, 90837 and 90847?
Do I need approval from my PCP?
To seek reimbursement, we will provide you a detailed receipt of service called a “superbill” that you can submit to your insurance company.

Payment is stored in your HIPAA-compliant client portal and auto-charged after each session. All major credit cards, as well as debit, HSA, FSA, and HRA accounts are accepted. Full payment is expected at the end of each session.
The full session fee is charged for sessions canceled with less than 48 hours notice (2 business days).

Both! Sessions with Maryam are available via telehealth and/or in-person.
In-person sessions are conducted at my office @ 4800 Roland Ave., Ste 301, Baltimore, MD 21210.
Please Note: Due to state licensing regulations, teletherapy sessions can only be conducted with clients who are physically located in Maryland, D.C., or Virginia at the time of their teletherapy session. Some exceptions made for international clients.

Pro-bono and slide scale services are not available at this time. If you are in need of free or low-cost therapy, I recommend Open Path Psychotherapy Collective and the Maryland Pro Bono Counseling Project. If you have insurance and are not financially able to invest in out-of-pocket therapy, please contact your insurance carrier for a list of approved providers.
